Baigup Wetlands Interest Group
Baigup Wetlands lies along the Swan River below Stone Street on the Maylands/Bayswater border. It is great birding place, with an abundance of both wetland birds and bush birds. BWIG works to restore biodiversity while maximising the amenity of this beautiful location for visitors.

Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conversation Centre
Kaarakin rescue, rehabilitate and release back into the wild Black Cockatoos. Learn more about their work, report an injured cockatoo or support their Perth Hills centre.

River Guardians
This program engages the community to get involved with protecting the ecosystmes of the Swan and Canning rivers. Activities include tracking the resident dolphin population, reducing river nutrient loading, river-wise gardening and learning about the various native species of birds that rest along the banks of the river.

Friends of Bennett Brook - Facebook page
Friends of Bennett Brook aims to increase biodiversity and provide habitats for the various native animals that reside in this urban bushland. Bennett Brook originates in Whiteman Park as a superficial groundwater aquifer. Rains fill the aquifer, causing it to rise and fill the wetlands during the winter months.
