Planting at Ashfield Flats
26 June 2021: Bassendean Preservation Group had our first planting out in Ashfield Flats for this winter. It was a beautiful clear morning and we planted advanced trees from the Town of Bassendean, along with tube stock from our GroCentre. The planting took place about 30 meters back from the river, with the aim of stabilising the foreshore in the future and also creating pockets of native plants to infill over time.
